This is the personal blog of Marcus Wilhelmsson living in Kalmar, Sweden.
I work as a lecturer at Linnaeus University teaching Linux/UNIX, operating system fundamentals, system monitoring and computer hardware (server hardware, SANs/storage, etc).
My main interests are Linux/UNIX, storage and everything revolving around it, this might be of no surprise to you though since you’ve read my blog.

Hi I really enjoy your content. I noticed that you are also using pre-release OSX Lion as I am. I am having major problems with Lion connecting to Solaris, openindiana, and opensolaris CIFS shares, just refuse to connect. I know Apple has now put in their own SMB stack into Lion for licensing reasons.
I was wondering if you have also come across this problem and possibly found some kind of fix / work around the problem?
cant say that I have, works fine. hope you find a solution. you could install netatalk and run AFP, but maybe that isnt an option?
Hello Marcus

afraid not. the support for traps has been limited in op5, so I haven’t gotten around to it.
